Justin Huertas (he/him) is an award-winning playwright, composer, lyricist, actor, and musician best known for his original musical Lizard Boy (Seattle Rep, Diversionary Theatre, NAMT Festival of New Musicals, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, Hope Mill Theatre Manchester, Edinburgh Fringe, Original Cast Album streaming on all platforms). His performance as Trevor has earned him regional theater awards in every city Lizard Boy has performed. Justin and collaborator Steven Tran recently premiered a new musical at the Kennedy Center called The Mortification of Fovea Munson based on Mary Winn Heider’s novel. They also composed original music for Marvel’s Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show! podcast. Other works include The Last World Octopus Wrestling Champion, The Lamplighter, and We’ve Battled Monsters Before. Steven Tran (he/him) is a music director, composer, and music producer. Original music for Marvel’s Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show! and California Love: K-Pop Dreaming (The LAist), available on all streaming services. Recent theater credits include music director/music producer for The Mortification of Fovea Munson (The Kennedy Center), music director/orchestrator for And So That Happened… (The 5th Avenue Theatre), music director for Lizard Boy (Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester, UK), and several Public Works productions here at Seattle Rep, including the new arrangements/orchestrations for The Winter’s Tale film. Seattle Artist Guy Garrison expresses a joy for play and storytelling, manifesting whimsy and humor through his sculptural works. He utilizes digital fabrication technologies like 3D printing and laser cutting to explore new techniques of transforming ideas into physical reality. As a veteran 3D animator/VFX artist, Guy revels in the irony of using advanced technologies to create the earliest forms of character animation and visual effects through shadow puppetry. Elisa Money (they/she/he) is a musical Swiss Army knife from Vancouver, Canada. They have contributed their talents to productions at The 5th Avenue Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Village Theatre, Theater Mu, The Arsht Center, Seattle Rep, ACT (Seattle), 54 Below, and others across the USA and Canada. They have produced several productions with Michael Brannon Wiles and are published alongside Albert Evans, David Armstrong, and Jason DeBord. Sarah Russell is overjoyed to finally share this story with the community. In real life she is an extroverted Libra Hufflepuff who enjoys gin and tonics, time with loved ones, and naps. Sophia Franzella (she/her) makes her Seattle Rep debut with Lydia and the Troll! She has recently performed with Village Theatre (Lucy and Margaret; Sense & Sensibility), Seattle Shakespeare Company (Bottom; Midsummer), Taproot Theatre Company (Ida; See How They Run), and Pony World Theatre (Emily; Not/Our Town). Esther Okech (she/her) is very happy to be making her Seattle Rep debut! She is an actor and educator from Kenya. She graduated from Cornell University where she pursued a BSc in Environmental Science and she is a recent graduate of the M.F.A. acting program at the University of Washington School of Drama. Esther’s stage credits include: No Exit, The Baltimore Waltz, Father Comes Home from the Wars, and The Oresteia (University of Washington School of Drama); Macbeth (Seattle Shakespeare Company). She would like to thank Seattle Rep for the opportunity to be here and her family for their unending support.

Ricky Spaulding (he/him) is thrilled to be working with Seattle Rep for the first time! He is an actor, musician, and theater artist currently based in Seattle, WA. After studying drama and English literature at the University of Washington, Ricky trained at Atlantic Acting School in New York City. In Seattle, Ricky has performed with Washington Ensemble Theatre, Taproot Theatre Company, Seattle Public Theater, Cafe Nordo, Showtunes Theatre Company, and more. He also appeared in Hulu’s “Shrill.” In addition to acting, Ricky has directed productions of The Flick by Annie Baker and True West by Sam Shepard and served as ACT Theatre's literary intern. @ricky.spaulding

Rosemary is a freelance stage manager and producer who's been working in the Seattle scene ever since she stumbled her way into theatre in 2018. She's been dreaming of this apprenticeship for nearly just as long, and is completely thrilled to be working with such an incredible team of stage managers. She's also worked with many other local companies such as Book-It, Sound Theatre Company, UMO Ensemble, Freehold, Dacha, Washington Ensemble Theatre and many other independent projects. She is also the production manager of Seattle Public Theater. As always, she'd like to thank her boyfriend, who's love and support makes all of her work possible.

Daira Rodriguez is a director and dramaturg from the Chicagoland area with a passion for new works, devising, and working with young minds. Daira recently completed the Directing/Artistic Apprenticeship at Seattle Rep after graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in Theatre and Gender Studies. Recent projects include Elyse and Mae Play the Most Epic Game of Life Ever by Kandace Mack and the world premiere of The Bloody Bricks and Blows of American Dream High by Gabriela Coutinho Furtado. Daira is inspired most by the works of Isabel Allende and Gabriel García Márquez. 

Max (he/him) is eager to continue his work at Seattle Rep! He is a recent Arizona State University graduate, where he earned his degree in theatrical production and design with a concentration in stage management. Recent credits include: HEDDATRON, Healing Wars, La Comedia of Errors (Arizona State University), #ENOUGH: Plays to End Gun Violence (Binary Theatre Company), The Tempest, Just Deserts (Santa Cruz Shakespeare), and Mr. Dickens and His Carol (Seattle Rep).
