Bloodworks Northwest Pop-Up Donor Center
We're excited to host a Pop-Up Donor Center with Bloodworks Northwest in August. Blood donations are critical at this time, and we are thankful for the opportunity to support Bloodworks Northwest’s mission of saving lives. The Pop-Up Donor Center will be accepting blood donation appointments every Tuesday and Thursday during the first two weeks of August.
We will be following local and national health guidelines at all times. No walk-ins or guests are permitted onsite. Donors and volunteers are asked to wear face coverings and maintain social distance. Hand sanitizer and restrooms will be available at all times. You can also learn more about the health and safety steps that Bloodworks Northwest is taking here.
Ages: 18+
Dates: August 4, 6, 11, and 13
Times: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
We also feel the need to acknowledge the ways in which federal blood donation eligibility criteria discriminates against certain members of the LGBTQ+ community, especially gay, bisexual, and pansexual men. There are several ongoing advocacy efforts to address these policies.
