In response to county infection data, feedback from audiences, and protocols implemented by peer organizations, Seattle Rep is instating the following protocols for all productions and public events in our building. Our protocols will continue to evolve and will remain flexible in order to be ready serve the needs of our community.

We will follow all health and safety guidelines laid out by the state and our union partners regarding masks, cleaning procedures, and all COVID-19 protocols to ensure the safety of everyone in the theater during the 2023/24 Season.

We are committed to keeping this webpage updated and will be dating this page as time goes on to ensure you have the most current information and know when changes have been made.

What to Expect In-Person at Seattle Rep

Please check this page before you come to Seattle Rep for the most up-to-date protocols.

Following CDC guidelines, we request our audience members do not attend Seattle Rep performances or events if you have COVID, are experiencing any COVID-related symptoms before the event begins, or if you have been exposed to COVID.

MASKS

Mask-wearing is optional but encouraged for most performances in our 2023/24 Season. We strongly recommend the wearing of highly effective masks such as N95, KN95, or KF94. 

Seattle Rep reserves the right to revert to mandatory masking at any time should community transmission rates or other considerations warrant.

MASK-REQUIRED PERFORMANCES

For audience members who do not yet feel comfortable attending the theater with unmasked patrons, the following performances have been designated as mask-required performances. Additional mask-required performance dates may be added as the season continues.

  • The Tempest: Aug. 26, 2023 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Passengers: Oct. 1, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Islander: Oct. 29, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Little Women: Nov. 19, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Quixote Nuevo: Jan. 28, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Sanctuary City: March 10, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Fat Ham: April 21, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Jinkx Monsoon & Major Scales: Together Again, Again!: June 9, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.

Mask-required performances will require all patrons to wear a mask for the duration of the performance and in the lobby, except when actively eating or drinking. 

DOCUMENTS 

Seattle Rep does not require Photo ID, proof of vaccination, or negative COVID test results to enter our facility.

Tickets & Seating Updates

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange into or out of one of our mask-required performances, you may do so at no additional charge. Please contact the Patron Services Office at 206.443.2222, text 206.565.2996, or send a message

Seating

We are currently selling all performances at regular seating capacity, but if health and safety guidelines change there is the possibility of capacity restrictions becoming necessary. If so, it is possible that you and all of our ticketholders will be reseated. If this is required, we will seat you as close as possible to your current seats and/or at seats of similar value. All of our standard ticket policies apply for performance changes and cancellations. We appreciate your patience and flexibility.

Digital Ticketing 

All tickets will be delivered digitally via your Seattle Rep account. You can pull your tickets up on your mobile phone or print tickets at home. 

The Patron Services Office (PSO) Will Call window will be open during performances for those who need it. Through our digital-first ticketing process, we hope to reduce the number of tickets available for pick-up at Will Call to prevent crowded lines from forming. Explore our E-Tickets FAQ for assistance or contact the Patron Services Office at 206.443.2222.

Facility Updates

Seattle Rep has invested in and installed updated facilities in our spaces for the safety and comfort of our patrons and visitors.

AIRFLOW AND HVAC IMPROVEMENTS

All air filters have been replaced and upgraded to MERV 13 throughout our building’s HVAC systems.

SANITATION STATIONS

Touchless sanitation stations have been installed throughout our lobby with free hand sanitizer for patron use.
