The Sierra Club is the most enduring and influential grassroots environmental organization in the U.S. They amplify the power of their 3.8 million members and supporters to defend everyone’s right to a healthy world. The Washington State Chapter works locally to reduce our state’s reliance on fossil fuels and contribution to the climate crisis by building an equitable economy that runs on clean energy. From defeating proposals for new coal export terminals to putting our state’s electricity grid on a path to 100% clean energy by 2045, the Sierra Club has helped make Washington a national leader in the climate fight.
