In the summer of 2017, Cara attended her first circus camp at SANCA. After learning that she enjoyed the circus environment, she continued her circus journey, taking classes in tumbling, aerial, trampoline, and more. She then joined the Celestial Circus youth performance group in 2019, where they had their first taste of circus performance at the Chicago Social Circus Festival. Ever since then, Cara has been performing in group acts, trios, and even self-choreographed solos all over the Greater Seattle Area with Celestial Circus.

Mo is a high school senior living in Seattle, and is an accomplished circus performer and coach. She loves all things circus especially aerial sling, club passing, group and partner acrobatics, hat juggling, and dance. She has been performing with SANCA’s youth companies since she was 7. In 2023 she won the Under-18 category of the Circus International Film Festival with a circus film that she created. When not on stage, Mo can be found at SANCA teaching kids and adults a variety of circus skills.

Josephine Shapiro is a high school senior living in Seattle, and a lifelong circus performer. She loves performing a variety of circus disciplines including Lyra, Fabric, Trapeze, Juggling, Acrobatics, and many others. Josephine has been a part of the performance troupes at SANCA since she was 5 years old. She has also performed with Versatile Arts in Seattle. Earlier this year she became a summer camp coach at SANCA and loves teaching kids and sharing how the circus has transformed her life.
