Nick Harden is a circus performer and coach living in Seattle. He performs acrobatics and unicycle with his wife and circus partner Wendy, and they have performed with companies including Cirque Mechanics, Flynn Creek Circus, Venardos Circus, Zoppe Circus, and Acrobatic Conundrum. They have graced the stages at Seattle’s Moisture Festival many times. Nick has shared his knowledge and love of circus with many youth circus organizations including SANCA, Circus Smirkus, Circadium, and Circus Harmony. Nick and Wendy have two young children who love to climb on their papa.

Nick & Wendy Harden met in 2010 while teaching circus to children in Seattle, and got married in 2014. They started working together on the unicycle in 2011, and have performed around the world since then. In 2015, they helped to start a circus company called IMPulse Circus Collective with a group of friends and fellow performers. They presented their show Figments with Seattle’s Moisture Festival. They have performed with companies including Cirque Mechanics, Flynn Creek Circus, and Zoppé Family Circus. They have coached with youth circuses including Circus Smirkus, SANCA in Seattle, and Circus Harmony.

Wendy Harden grew up flipping and twisting while competing gymnastics in Northern California. After graduating college, Wendy was invited back to Northern California to teach tumbling with an after-school circus program. She loved it, and quickly decided she wanted more circus. In 2010 Wendy moved to Seattle and fully immersed herself in the circus world at the School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts. In addition to duo unicycle, Wendy enjoys performing teeterboard, hand-to-hand, Chinese pole, and trampoline.

Vivian Tam is a Seattle-based circus artist, specializing in aerial arts. Over the past 20 years, her work has included a wild assortment of cabaret stages, theaters, festivals, cruise ships, and corporate entertainment. Her first international appearance was with the Seattle troupe The Aerialistas at Teatro Circo Price in Madrid. She credits The Aerialistas with giving her much of her early education in circus performance. More recently, her work has extended into Seattle’s theater and burlesque scene where she is embracing the opportunities to grow her multidisciplinary characters. Vivian frequently performs at dinner theater The Triple Door. Vivian is also a dedicated private aerial coach. She is owner and artistic director of Chrysalis Circus, a production company that specializes in the support of artists through education, community, and multi-genre artistic collaboration. Since her first introduction to aerial at Hollywood Aerial Arts in Los Angeles, she is eternally thankful for all the incredible teachers, schools, and mentors in the circus that she’s had throughout her career. Ivanna started out in a career dancing with various companies in Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles and was eventually introduced to aerial arts. She has always found a deep sense of freedom and connection within dance. The ability to simultaneously tune in and get lost inside the expressiveness of movement is glorious. She was delighted to find that same sense of expressiveness in aerial, just with a different set of boundaries. She currently performs on various apparatus and sees each as a different dance partner to get to know and discover how to create with.
