Roxana Pardo Garcia aka La Roxay is a self-identifying Hood Intellectual Xingona who was born and raised on occupied Coast Salish Territory. Roxana is the Certified Xingona, Founder, and Cultural Worker of two small businesses, La Roxay Productions and Hood Intellectual Xingona. She is also the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Alimentando al Pueblo, a nonprofit that won a 2022 MOHAI Everyday Hero Award. She is a graduate of Highline High School, the University of Washington, and forever a student of these streets and life. She was named one of Seattle Times 2020 Local Heroes, 2021 Burien Citizen of the Year and a Seattle Kraken Hero of the Deep. Roxana attended the University of Washington where she received her BA in American Ethnic Studies. While a student Roxana was an active part of MEChA, where many campaigns were fought for – and won – that centered the histories and experiences of Black, Indigenous, Students of color. Roxana graduated from UW being the first in her family to do so. Her 10+ years of Community involvement and organizing, include being a youth worker – specializing in working with Black, Indigenous, Youth of color, a community engagement expert, mentor, and a spirited South King County advocate. Roxana is an experienced public speaker, event planner, presenter, event MC, facilitator, truth teller, and professional chismosa. Roxana uses indigenous knowledge and her genetic memories to do work that will allow people to live with dignity, respect, self and collective determination – because we know, nothing will liberate the hood, but the hood itself.

Manuel Torres Hernandez (He, They) - From Yakima, is a first-generation graduate who studied visual journalism with studies in French and Spanish at Western Washington University. In the five years since moving to Seattle, he has been instrumental in developing culturally inclusive/bilingual social media campaigns and graphics for Community-led organizations like Bidi Bidi Bom Bash, Alimentando Al Pueblo, and Somos Seattle. They thrive at the intersection of their queerness, brujería, and Mexicanidad. They also specialize in creating one-of-a-kind crystal companions in their small business #ManifestYourWill. Manuel sees themselves as a bridge to connect the many communities they belong to. He believes the most important thing we can do is uplift the voices of those most marginalized and allow them to tell their own stories. 

Patricia Pacheco (she/they) AKA Patrona, is a west coast baby who grew up in Califas and Washington. They are a multidisciplinary artist, who skillfully weaves together their roles as a researcher, yoga instructor, textile artist, and traditional medicine practitioner, all in service to their community. Amid a global pandemic, they curated the Be Well Collective as a community care initiative connecting individuals with local cultural health practitioners. Their work reflects a deep commitment to holistic well-being by creating access to ancestral healing practices and knowledge. Patricia is part of the Mexican diaspora, leaning into the genetic memory to guide their every move. 

Joselito Flores del Castillo is a queer curandero/spiritual healer and life coach here in the Pacific Northwest. Deeply rooted in his Tex-Mex culture, Joselito follows the path of his Abuelito Eliseo Flores who was an amazing curandero and spiritual healer in Texas. Joselito’s works include Limpias (energy cleanses), spiritual alignment, banishing ceremonies, tarot readings, egg cleanses, barridas, and love ceremonies. His passion for healing and coaching is deeply rooted in his connection to his ancestors and the love of his life, Our Lady Of Guadalupe.
