Plays in Process FAQ
Plays in Process installments are not full productions. Plays in Process installments feature exclusive excerpts of these plays and musicals, interviews with the actors and artists about the behind-the-scenes creative process of working on a new play, and more. Visit the event page for each installment you would like to attend. Go to the "Pricing Information" section and select your ticket price. To complete your registration, either log in to your existing Seattle Rep account or create one if you are new to our website. We appreciate your consideration in adding a tax-deductible gift to your ticket purchase upon check-out. Once registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. Full event details and streaming information will be sent prior to each series date. Plays in Process tickets are available for purchase for a suggested $20, with pay-what-you-choose options available. If you are able to purchase a ticket at a higher price than the suggested amount, we sincerely appreciate your consideration! If you wish to pay an amount not available as a suggested price option, add the "Pay What You Choose $0" ticket option to your cart, then add a tax-deductible donation of any amount upon check-out. Gift certificates and credits on account may also be applied towards this series. This program is made possible by the Actors’ Equity Association Theatre Authority to help drive fundraising efforts for the organization while we are closed due to the impacts of COVID-19. Plays in Process series tickets have suggested prices, but we are offering other pay-what-you-choose options to ensure that all who want to attend can. Short answer, you get to choose your price point and each price provides the same viewer experience. If you wish to pay an amount not available as a suggested price option, you may select the "Pay What You Choose $0" ticket option, then add a tax-deductible donation of any amount at check-out. All ticket-buyers regardless of price selection may also add on a tax-deductible gift. One pass or ticket = One household. If you have many people in your household and would normally purchase 4+ tickets for an in-person performance, we invite you to consider the "Above and Beyond" ticket option and/or adding an additional tax-deductible donation with your ticket. You will receive a confirmation email within 15 minutes of completing your ticket purchase. Event streaming links will be sent you to in a separate email closer to the event. You can also access your streaming information by logging in to the My Account page of our website. All Plays in Process events will be closed captioned. To request additional accommodations, contact our Patron Services Office for options by phone at 206.443.2222 or send a message. You do not need a YouTube account or paid membership to watch Plays in Process events. You do need to register for each event in order to receive the streaming links. However, if you would like to participate in the chat box function where you can communicate with other viewers during the virtual performance, you must log into or create your own free YouTube account and create a personal channel in order to comment. External streaming devices like Chromecast, Amazon Fire Stick, Apple TV, Roku, and some modern gaming consoles can also connect to YouTube.
