With every passing year, climate change more crucially affects our lives and the lives of the next generation. The ways in which climate change affects each person differs drastically depending on race, geography, and economic status, among other factors. Privilege plays a role in how we encounter climate change, as well as what we can do to counter it. How does the meaning and power of privilege shift in times of community crisis and how should we harness our privilege at those times?
