CORE VALUES

Access

  • Increase access to theater and Seattle Rep

Connection

  • Deepen community connection to Seattle Rep
  • Connect community members to resources and to each other

Amplify

  • Amplify under-heard voices by connecting the stories on our stages to the stories of Seattle and the region
  • Amplify the artistic content of Seattle Rep’s shows to deepen exposure to and understanding of theater arts
  • Beyond our scheduled post-show Actor and Design Talks, throughout our seasons, we curate a variety of engagement events that deepen your experience with Seattle Rep, theater arts, and our local community, including panel discussions, workshops, off-site events, and in these times of social distancing, online events.

IMPACT

Throughout our 2019/20 season, we engaged more than 5,000 people in our engagement events both on-site at Seattle Rep and off-site.

We held over 50 events between September and March, including panel discussions, Actor and Design Talks, off-site events, receptions, fishbowl conversations, Student Matinees, music jam sessions, workshops, and more.

This season, we partnered with more than 25 organizations, educational institutions, music groups, and more. Get to know a few of this season’s local partners:
