Hedgebrook Presents
Hedgebrook Women Playwrights Festival (HWPF)
Monday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m.
Leo K. Theatre

The annual Hedgebrook Women Playwrights Festival (HWPF) celebrates the work of women writing for the theatre. Since the festival’s inauguration in 1998, HWPF has supported the work of an impressive array of women playwrights and served an important role in the development of new plays by women.

Be the first to see new work by Aleshea Harris, Lucy Alibar, Hansol Jung, Winsome Pinnock and Amy Freed. Hedgebrook forges opportunities for women playwrights to deepen their relationships with theatres and is becoming a major pipeline for plays by women to move from creation to development and production. Current partners include Center Theatre Group, Denver Center Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Rep, Southern Rep Theatre, and Victory Gardens Theatre.
