Seattle Rep's Public Works is free to all who participate and supported entirely by generous donors.
Launched in 2016, Seattle Rep’s Public Works initiative works deeply with community-based organizations to invite people from all walks of life to take classes, attend performances and events, and join in creating ambitious works of participatory theater. Through this process strangers become neighbors, creating a region that is welcoming for all.
Public Works is free to all who participate and supported entirely by generous donors. Ranging from $2 to six figures, gifts and grants of all sizes are essential. With the help of Public Works donors, Seattle Rep invests more than $1M in our community each year, at no cost to our partner organizations, participants, or audience members.
Your gift will help us spread equity, imagination, and joy across our region through free programming like:
- Ongoing theater classes in participants’ own neighborhoods
- Performances and community events for participants each month
- A professional mainstage production featuring a community ensemble reflective of our region
Join us in creating theater of, by, and for the people by supporting Public Works.
