Constructed as part of our original facility in 1983, the PONCHO Forum was named in honor of a major grant from Patrons of Northwest Civic, Cultural and Charitable Organizations. The PONCHO Forum is often called the heart of Seattle Rep as it touches nearly every artistic production or program offered at the theater. In 2018, we renovated this venue to bring it into the 21st century and improve its comfort and utility for both artists and audience members alike. We upgraded the theatrical sound and lighting systems, and added audiovisual capabilities, a new flexible seating unit, and a window that opens up our artistic process to observers outside.
Seattle Rep remains deeply grateful to the generous private donors and public funders who supported this transformative renovation.
