About the International Rescue Committee
The International Rescue Committee, WA is a non-profit humanitarian organization that has been for the past 45 years been serving refugees and immigrants in the Greater Puget Sound area and provides opportunities for tens of thousands of refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants to thrive in America. The IRC works with government bodies, mission-aligned partners, and local volunteers to help them translate their past experiences into valuable assets for their new communities. The IRC helps them rebuild their lives in Seattle and Spokane, WA, in 20+ other offices across the country and globally in 40 countries.
