Jan Rosenberg [Jan/Jan's] is a 3x semi-finalist for the Eugene O'Neill Playwriting Conference (A Little Piece of You, What's Wrong With You, and How to Destroy an American Girl Doll). GUSHER! is a finalist for the Eugene O'Neill Conference and was on the shortlist for the Theatre503 Playwriting Award. Jan has worked with The Lark, LAByrinth Theater Company, The Cherry Lane Theater, The New Light Theater Project, Primary Stages, and more. Finalist for Playwrights Realm Writing Fellowship. Former Playwright in residence at Stella Adler and The Farm Theater Project. LAByrinth Intensive Ensemble Alum. Member of the Actors Studio (Playwright/Director Unit). Casey Stangl (she/her/hers) is Associate Artistic Director for Ojai Playwrights’ Conference where she has developed work with Will Arbery, Bekah Brunstetter, JC Lee, Anna Ziegler, and Kimberly Belflower. When the pandemic hit Casey created Radio Round, a cycle of 10 interconnected radio plays written by 10 visionary playwrights and performed live via Zoom as a fundraiser for Black Lives Matter and Feeding America. The Radio Round model is now being developed as a podcast. Most recently Casey co-created the world premiere of Citizen Brain with writer/performer Josh Kornbluth, performed live online for Shotgun Theater. Casey was named 2019 Director of the Year by StageScene Los Angeles. National credits include American Conservatory Theater, La Jolla Playhouse, Jungle Theater, The Guthrie Theater, Arizona Theater Company, Denver Center, Woolly Mammoth, Portland Stage, Cleveland Playhouse, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, the Humana Festival, and Berkeley Repertory’s GroundFloor. Casey proudly serves on the Executive Board of SDC, the national labor union for stage directors and choreographers.
Dramaturg and Gender Consultant
Josephine Kearns (she/her) is a gender consultant, dramaturg, and creator specializing in queer, transgender, and intersex issues. Her work includes projects with Village Theatre, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Kansas City Rep, the Perelman Center for the Arts, Shaw Festival Theater, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, and TimeLine Theatre, as well as work on the Broadway development process of Stu for Silverton (prod. Diana DiMenna). She is also the gender consultant for Actors’ Equity Association and for Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas, and the consultancy director for Ring of Keys.
