Party like it’s the apocalypse.
When our narrator M—a sharp-witted, twenty-year-old drag performer—discovers their father, Greg, has been diagnosed with stage‑four pancreatic cancer, the whole Murphy family is thrown into chaos. As Greg spends sleepless nights watching nature documentaries, he becomes convinced that he is the Earth—and that both he and the planet are being taken down by their own “Big C’s”: his cancer and climate change.
From surprise visits from Greta Thunberg to extinct-animal support groups, Seattle favorite Keiko Green’s darkly funny and wildly imaginative new play blends fantastical storytelling with heartfelt family drama. You are cordially invited to party like it’s the apocalypse and take part in a cathartic celebration of love, loss, and everything in between.
