Jan. 21 – Feb. 21, 2027
Bagley Wright Theater
Classic lit. New receipts.
In a rural Georgia high school, an AP English class dives into the drama that made “witch hunt” a household phrase. But as the quick-witted teens begin to question this landmark work of literature, the parallels between the play and their own lives become uncomfortably real, building toward a thrilling and urgent confrontation with gender, power, and who gets to control the narrative.
In a bold artistic collaboration, three of the nation’s leading regional theaters join forces to bring Kimberly Belflower’s explosive coming-of-age story to the West Coast. Centering young voices, this Broadway sensation and new cult classic ignites the kind of conversation that lingers long after the final bell.
