Eureka Day

Sept. 24 – Nov. 15, 2026

Leo K. Theater

Chaos has entered the chat.

At Berkeley’s most proudly progressive private school, every decision is made by committee—and every committee meeting is an adventure. When a case of mumps surfaces, parents and administrators gather to debate safety policies, equity, and what it truly means to protect one another. As idealism collides with real‑world stakes, their well-intentioned efforts unravel in unexpectedly funny and deeply human ways.

Jonathan Spector’s popular Tony Award winner serves up a razor‑sharp satire of well‑meaning chaos and shines a light on the shared responsibility that holds a community together.

Thoughtful and gut-busting

Jay Irwin, BroadwayWorld

Quite possibly, the funniest thing I have ever seen on a stage

Greg Heilman, The Sound On Stage

A top-flight cast

The Seattle Times

Some plays are good, some very good. Eureka Day at Seattle Rep is pretty near perfect: very funny, and yet thoughtful.

Keith Dorwick, British Theatre Guide
