Henry, Henry, and Jonathan met while training at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Artistic Director at Seattle Rep since July 2023, Dámaso Rodríguez is a director of new and classic plays with over 100 credits at theaters across the country. Most recently, he concluded a nine-year tenure as Artistic Director of Artists Rep in Portland, Oregon. In prior years, he co-founded L.A.’s Furious Theatre and served as Associate Artistic Director of the Pasadena Playhouse. He is a recipient of awards from LA Drama Critics Circle, Back Stage, and the NAACP. Dámaso serves on the Directors Council of the Drama League and the Latinx Theatre Commons Steering Committee and is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. Melanie Taylor Burgess has designed costumes for over 200 productions for Seattle Rep, Seattle Opera, The 5th Avenue Theatre, ACT, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Intiman, Village Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, and many others. Regionally for Guthrie Theater, Pittsburgh Playhouse, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, PlayMakers Repertory Company, and more. Melanie is the recipient of two Gregory Awards for Outstanding Costume Design and several other regional awards. She is a professor of Costume Design at Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University.

Connie (she/her) is delighted to return to Seattle Rep where her work was last seen in Blithe Spirit. Other recent designs include Tosca (Seattle Opera), Dial M for Murder (Village Theatre), P.O.T.U.S. (ACT), The Rake's Progress (Des Moines Metro Opera), The Elixir of Love (New Orleans Opera), and La Boheme (Opera Colorado). Rodolfo received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Arizona and his Master’s of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music where he studied piano and composition. He has composed music for Oregon Shakespeare Festival (Romeo & Juliet, The Tenth Muse), Denver Center for the Performing Arts (The Three Musketeers, Romeo & Juliet), Santa Cruz Shakespeare (Hamlet, Macbeth, Julius Caesar), Cleveland Playhouse (Native Gardens), and South Coast Repertory (The Monster Builder). At Seattle Rep he has composed and designed sound for Metamorphoses and Laughs in Spanish. 

Brian Danner is entering his third decade as a fight choreographer, stunt coordinator, and combat professor. Danner, the owner of Sword Fights Inc., is a multi-award-winning sword fight specialist in Hollywood, having trained Brad Pitt, Russell Crowe, Natalie Portman, Madonna, Nathan Fillion, Leslie Odom Jr., Sir Ben Kingsley, and more. He is excited for his first project with Seattle Rep. Kate is a Seattle-based director, intimacy choreographer, and teaching artist. Ian Bond is an actor, fight/intimacy director, and educator. Recently he has enjoyed working at ACT and Seattle Opera. His day job is getting to work with the inspiring students at Cornish College of the Arts as Associate Professor of Stage Management.
