Spring Donor Trip to New York City

May 6 - 9, 2020

We’re thrilled to share our Spring 2020 theater trip itinerary in New York City, May 6-9, 2020. We invite you to travel along with Seattle Rep Managing Director Jeffrey Herrmann and Producing Director Elisabeth Farwell-Moreland as we take you on a New York theater experience full of behind-the-scenes opportunities and artistic insights that only Seattle Rep can provide.

Wednesday, May 6, 2020:

'Cause we CAN CAN CAN! Join us for our fun and fabulous kick-off with a multi-course dinner and cocktails followed by the centerpiece show for the trip: Moulin Rouge: The Musical at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, directed by Alex Timbers (director of Seattle Rep’s Here Lies Love). Baz Luhrmann's revolutionary film comes to life onstage, remixed in a new musical mash-up extravaganza. Guests will experience premium seats, stunning costumes, scenery, and showmanship at this historic venue while enjoying the hottest show of 2020! The party continues with post-show cocktails.

Thursday, May 7, 2020:

We are working on the final details but there will be an exciting show to announce shortly!

Friday, May 8, 2020:

We will come together for a night at The Public Theater with a family-style dinner at The Library before attending The Visitor. With heart, humor, and lush new songs, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony-winning duo behind Next to Normal and If/Then bring a new musical based on the acclaimed independent film The Visitor, by Thomas McCarthy, to The Public for its world premiere, directed by Tony Award-winner and former Seattle Rep Artistic Director Daniel Sullivan. Immediately following the show, guests will be invited to an actor talk and discussion in the theater.

Saturday, May 9, 2020:

The day begins with a morning brunch followed by a matinee of Company at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theater. Tony Award and Grammy Award winner Katrina Lenk and two-time Tony Award and two-time Grammy Award winner Patti LuPone join forces in award-winning director Marianne Elliott's revelatory new production of Stephen Sondheim's musical

The cost of the full trip is $3,500 per person ($1,500 of which is tax-deductible). A $700 deposit is required to register and is non-refundable. This trip has limited availability and we encourage guests to register early. Final balance will be due on March 30, 2020.
