Overall Progress to Our $12.5M Goal

See the Breakdown

Individual Contributions: $7,533,000 Goal

Each year more than 3,500 donors at all levels come together to invest in Seattle Rep through contributions to our annual fund, show sponsorships, or gifts to core programs like Public Works, New Works, or Youth Engagement. Donors like you can support the theater in a variety of ways, including gifts of stock, donor advised funds, IRA charitable rollovers, and planned gifts. If your employer has a matching program for contributions or volunteer hours, your gift can make an even bigger impact!

Ticket Sales: $1,000,000 Goal

Earned revenue through ticket sales is an important contributor to our cash flow position and an indicator of artistic health. While our stages are dark, purchasing tickets to virtual events like Plays in Process is an immediate way to support Seattle Rep. Additionally, once subscriptions go on sale this summer for our 2021/22 season, these purchases will also contribute to the Heart Fund.

Government Relief Grants: $1,854,000 Goal

Public relief funds (such as forgiven PPP loans and federal grants redistributed by state and local agencies) help the theater maintain staff and general operations while closed, and prepare to rehire and reopen. You can help ensure strong government funding as the arts and culture sector emerges from the pandemic by contacting your federal Representative and Senators, state legislators, and county and city elected officials to express your support.

Foundation Grants: $1,561,000 Goal

Foundation grants include annual support for the theater’s ongoing programs or operations as well as one-time investments in reopening or renovation activities. You can help ensure strong foundation support by introducing or recommending Seattle Rep to any grant-makers you know, including your local community foundation. Please contact Foundation and Corporate Partnerships Director Sarah Bednar for more info.

Government Operating Grants: $174,000 Goal

Government operating funds come through competitive grants to support productions and programs that provide public benefit for our community. You can help ensure ongoing government investment in arts and culture, now and in the future, by contacting your House Representative and Senators, state legislators, and county and city elected officials to express your support.

Corporate Support: $278,000 Goal

Corporate support includes annual grants or sponsorships for Seattle Rep productions, programs, or events. You and your employer can help build robust corporate support for Seattle Rep’s reopening by partnering with us to create tailored sponsorship opportunities or corporate events, or to help your company meet its social responsibility goals. Please contact Foundation and Corporate Partnerships Director Sarah Bednar for more info.

Other: $100,000 Goal

Other revenue includes royalty payments from past productions that premiered at Seattle Rep (such as Come From Away) and theater property rentals.
