Get ready for Young Rep's Winter Intensive auditions in a fun, supportive environment. Participants will learn more about The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, work on scenes from the show, learn a song, and gain practical audition skills that can be applied to future theater opportunities.

While attendance is not required to audition for the Winter Intensive, this workshop is designed to help students feel prepared and confident.

Young Rep Classes FAQ

What are Young Rep classes?

Young Rep Classes are for students ages 13-20 (offerings outside of this age range will be clearly noted). Classes are focused on a particular theme and have capacity limits to ensure individualized feedback and small-group community building.

Who can participate?

Young Rep classes are open to youth aged 13–20. (Any offerings for students outside of this age range will be clearly noted.)

Where are Young Rep classes held?

Young Rep classes are typically held at Seattle Rep, 155 Mercer St. Full directions and parking details will be provided after enrollment.

We occasionally hold classes at nearby locations, which will be clearly noted on each class webpage.

How much to Young Rep classes cost?

Young Rep class tuition depends on the class session length (month/quarter-long, one-day workshops, etc.). See each class webpage for details.

What should I bring?

Each day, students should bring:

  • A snack
  • A water bottle
  • Any requested class materials, like a script or notebook

Do students need prior theater experience?

No. Young Rep classes are designed to support students at a variety of skill levels and emphasize growth through collaboration, training, and performance. We include "Experience Level" notes for most classes to help students choose what offerings are right for them.

Are scholarships or financial aid available?

Yes. Seattle Rep is committed to access and inclusion. If cost is a barrier, we encourage families to inquire about financial aid options. Contact our Education team for details. 

How do I sign up?
