Kevin Cirilli is making his playwriting debut with The Man in the Red Hat. He is the former Chief Washington Correspondent for Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg Radio, where he was among the youngest ever to hold the role.

Currently, he is the founder of meet the future (mtf.tv) and host of HELLO FUTURE on iHeartMedia, where he explores the future of everything from space exploration, quantum computing, health / medicine, and energy.

He was assigned to cover President Trump's improbable 2016 presidential campaign through his first term, traveling extensively with the campaign and administration around the country and world.

His reporting has taken him from his hometown of Delaware County, Pa. (Delco); State College, Pa.; Iowa; New Hampshire; Vietnam; Israel; Saudi Arabia; Singapore; Jamaica; Colombia; and elsewhere.

A former media fellow at the Atlantic Council, Cirilli previously worked various Capitol Hill publications (POLITICO, The Hill) and has appeared on CBS, CNN, MSNBC (MSNOW), C-SPAN, and Fox News. An alum of Penn State University, he grew up in Delco, where he played soccer and acted each year in the school play. He lives in America with his dog Theo. He hopes to one day report from space. 

Artistic Director at Seattle Rep since July 2023, Dámaso Rodríguez is a director of new and classic plays with over 100 credits at theaters across the country. Most recently, he concluded a nine-year tenure as Artistic Director of Artists Rep in Portland, Oregon. In prior years, he co-founded L.A.’s Furious Theatre and served as Associate Artistic Director of the Pasadena Playhouse.

He is a recipient of awards from LA Drama Critics Circle, Back Stage, and the NAACP. Dámaso serves on the Directors Council of the Drama League and is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.

Kimberly Colburn (she/her) is a dramaturg for new plays, producer, and community builder and is currently the Associate Artistic Director of the South Carolina New Play Festival. She has worked with Seattle Rep, Soulpepper Theatre, Denver Center Theatre Company, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Mixed Blood Theatre, Oregon Contemporary Theatre, The Playwrights Center, Musical Stage Company, Native Voices at the Autry, Los Angeles Opera and many more. As Literary Director for South Coast Rep, she co-directed the Pacific Playwrights Festival, and was the Literary Manager during the era of the Humana Festival for New American Plays. Shaina Pierce is thrilled to be back at Seattle Rep! She was last at Seattle Rep as the stage manager for Laughs in Spanish and assistant stage manager for Blues for an Alabama Sky and Fat Ham. Other select stage management credits include The Wiz (The 5th Avenue Theatre); Loving and Loving and Dracula (Actors Theatre of Louisville); Hot Wing King, Trading Places: the Musical, and A Christmas Carol (Alliance Theatre); Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid (Alabama Shakespeare Festival).
