About The Play
What happens after Neverland?
When Wendy Darling arrives back home after her adventures in Neverland, detectives demand answers, therapists worry, and Peter Pan still haunts her thoughts. Unable to let go of the boy who won’t grow up, Wendy searches for Peter—through letters, memories, and encounters with others forced into adulthood too soon, desperate for closure.
This contemporary reimagining of what happens after Neverland transforms a childhood fantasy into a raw exploration of identity, grief, and the emotional labor demanded of young women. Featuring a vibrant cast ages 13–20, Kimberly Belflower’s (John Proctor is the Villain) poignant and powerful story of self-discovery confronts what happens when growing up isn’t a choice.
