Johnson’s plays include Goat People, Brilliant Traces, The New Americans, Propaganda, Under Cover of Darkness, The Years, Blessé and The Person I Once Was. Her work has been produced by Williamstown Theatre Festival, Manhattan Theatre Club, The Cherry Lane, Naked Angels, Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Alliance Theater, New York Stage and Film, the Edinburg Fringe and the Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference among others. She is a recipient of a National Endowment Fellowship, George Soros’ OSA grant to study in Budapest, a Huntington Library Fellowship and a Jujamcyn commission. 

Artistic Director at Seattle Rep since July 2023, Dámaso Rodríguez is a director of new and classic plays with over 100 credits at theaters across the country. Most recently, he concluded a nine-year tenure as Artistic Director of Artists Rep in Portland, Oregon. In prior years, he co-founded L.A.’s Furious Theatre and served as Associate Artistic Director of the Pasadena Playhouse. He is a recipient of awards from LA Drama Critics Circle, Back Stage, and the NAACP. Dámaso serves on the Directors Council of the Drama League and the Latinx Theatre Commons Steering Committee and is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. Beth Pollack (she/her) is a Seattle-based actor, dramaturg, and teaching artist. A professional actress for 40 years, Julie has performed many roles at Seattle Rep, most recently the title role in the world premiere of MOTHER RUSSIA. Julie is a co-founder and artistic producer of The Seagull Project where her roles have included Arkadina in THE SEAGULL, Olga in THE THREE SISTERS, Ranevskaya in THE CHERRY ORCHARD. and Charlie in THE LOWER DEPTHS. Julie is a proud recipient of the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship for career excellence in acting.

Sara (she/her) is a two-time LA Drama Critics Circle Award winner and an LA Weekly Award nominee. A recent Seattle transplant, she is thrilled to make her Seattle Rep debut and return to The Skin of Our Teeth for a third time. Sara was a co-founder and co-artistic director of the acclaimed Furious Theatre in LA. She has worked at Artists Rep, Pasadena Playhouse, and A Noise Within, among others. Miriam Schwartz (she/her) is a Seattle-born, Portland-based theater, voice, and film actor. A graduate of the Guthrie Theater’s BFA Actor Training program, Miriam's work in Minneapolis was seen at the Guthrie Theater, Mixed Blood Theatre, Six Points Theatre Company, and the Playwrights’ Center, among others. In Portland, she has worked at Portland Center Stage, Artists Repertory Theatre, Profile Theatre, Portland Shakespeare Project, and Third Rail Theatre Company. Michael Winters was most recently in Abacus, a Red Dog production at West of Lenin. Other Seattle appearances have been at Intiman, Seattle Rep, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Taproot Theatre, Book-It Repertory, and 5th Avenue Theatre. He has also worked at Shakespeare festivals in Oregon, California, Colorado, and other regional theatres around the country. He was in Wrong Mountain on Broadway in 2000, and has appeared in various shows on television, including a long stint on Gilmore Girls.

R. Hamilton Wright has appeared in over fifty productions at the Seattle Rep, the first being 1979’s The Taming of the Shrew directed by Dan Sullivan, and the latest being 2020’s The Children directed by Tim Bond. His original play Sherlock Holmes and The Vanishing Thimble premiered earlier this year at Vertigo Theatre in Calgary. The long running production of Bob and Katie’s Marriage recently celebrated its 26th anniversary. It has been extended indefinitely.
