Seattle Rep's Job Shadowing Experience 

Join us for an exclusive backstage shadowing experience for ages 18+! Are you ready to step behind the curtain and see how live theater magic happens? Here’s what you’ll need to know to make the most of this unique opportunity:

• Punctuality is Key: Since you’ll be shadowing during a live performance, it’s crucial to arrive on time. Plan to be here 90 minutes before showtime (6 p.m.). This allows for an introduction to your tasks, one-on-one time with staff, and a tour of the backstage area.
• Dress the Part: Wear all-black clothing—no logos or bright colors—so you can blend seamlessly backstage. Comfortable, dark-colored or black shoes are also a must. Avoid fragrances, as scents can be distracting to others.
• Prepare to be Active: You’ll need to be able to move comfortably, including standing and walking briskly as needed.
• Accessibility Matters: Let us know in advance if you have any access needs—we want to ensure you feel fully supported during your time with us.
• Bring Your Passion: Prior theater experience isn’t required, but a love for the performing arts will make your experience even more rewarding.
