Kirsten Potter is an award-winning actress, narrator, and now playwright who has been telling stories for nearly three decades. As an actress, she has developed and performed work with the Mark  Taper Forum, South Coast Repertory, Arena Stage, Seattle Repertory Theater, ACT and Milwaukee Repertory Theater, among many others. She has also been a proud member of the  acting companies at Milwaukee Repertory, Anteaus Theater Company, and ACT. As a narrator she has recorded numerous audiobooks and video games, including the role of Mara Sov in the Destiny game series; and is a frequent collaborator with the New York Times and Apple News. As a playwright her first play, Rubicon, was developed during the 2022 Colorado New Play Summit and premiered at DCPA in 2024. Unraveling is her second play.

Artistic Director at Seattle Rep since July 2023, Dámaso Rodríguez is a director of new and classic plays with over 100 credits at theaters across the country. Most recently, he concluded a nine-year tenure as Artistic Director of Artists Rep in Portland, Oregon. In prior years, he co-founded L.A.’s Furious Theatre and served as Associate Artistic Director of the Pasadena Playhouse. He is a recipient of awards from LA Drama Critics Circle, Back Stage, and the NAACP.

Dámaso serves on the Directors Council of the Drama League and is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. Jayna Shoda Meyer (she/her) is an interdisciplinary theater artist with a strong background in community facilitation and new works. As an actor, director, and facilitator, she aims to bring underrepresented stories to the stage and views theater as a medium for radical healing.

Jayna is an alumna of Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s FAIR Program, assisting on Desdemona Chiang’s production of The Importance of Being Earnest, and of the Stage Director & Choreographer Foundation’s Professional Development Program as the SDCF Directing Observer on Lempicka directed by Rachel Chavkin (Broadway).

As a member of Breaking Wave Theatre Company in Guåhan, she co-directed, devised, and performed in WE WILL NOT GO SILENT, an original work about the climate crisis from the perspective of the Pacific that was recently awarded a National Theatre Project Grant from the New England Foundation of the Arts. Max Zamorano (he/they) is delighted to be back at Seattle Rep! He is a PATP alumni, and is grateful for the opportunity to continue growing and learning with this institution.

Outside of his stage management work, he finds joy in the outdoors, reading, baking, running, and his cat Salem.
