Coaching Workshop and Dress Rehearsals
These coaching sessions are for all finalists of the Next Narrative Monologue Competition. Monologue finalists will receive free admission to the Young Rep Monologue Class held in person at Seattle Rep. These classes will provide one-on-one support from professional teaching artists who will help bring out your best monologue performance through building your skills in acting, public speaking, and performing.
Young Rep Monologue Class & Coaching Workshops:

Saturdays in January 2026: January 5, 12, 26 (no session on January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)
Regional Finals Tech Dates:
- Tuesday, February 10 – Thursday, February 12, 2026
Competition Dates
Attending all coaching sessions, dress rehearsals, and regional finals is required for participation.
- Seattle Regional Finals: Friday, February 13, 2026, 7–10 p.m. at Seattle Rep
- National Finals: Saturday, May 2 – Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at The Apollo Theater in New York City
