Brodrick Ryans (he/him) is a Seattle based musical theatre artist, director, teaching artists and the founder/host of Timeout w/Brodrick. Most recently Brodrick just finished his 20-21 Emerging Leaders in Theatre for Young Audiences Fellowship with TYA/USA. He also worked on the education materials for A Kids Play About Racism, Voices of Change and Creative Drama for Mental Wellness for Middle and High Schools, while serving as a teaching artists and the Education Coordinator for Seattle Children’s Theatre. “I am really excited about being back in space and working with students at SCT. Rachel Atkins - (she/her) is a Seattle-based playwright and teaching artist. She is the scriptwriter for the multimedia educational theatre company Living Voices, with 12 shows on history and social justice in ongoing touring repertory, seen by over 4 million audience members throughout the US and Canada. Her play Black Like Us (Original Works Publishing) received the Theatre Puget Sound Gregory Award for Outstanding New Play, 2 Seattle Times Footlight Awards, and was an American Theatre Critics Association Steinberg New Play Award nominee. A 3-time Gregory Award nominee for Outstanding Playwright/New Play, her work has been produced extensively in Seattle and around the US, Canada, and Brazil. Rachel is a Dramatists Guild member and holds her Master’s in Educational Theatre from New York University. As a Seattle Office of Arts & Culture Arts Partner, she teaches throughout the region, including Seattle Public Schools Theatre of the Oppressed Project and Arts Impact’s Native Voices Arts Academy.

Shermona Mitchell is an actor, director, and adaptor, transplanted in Seattle by way of Kentucky. In addition to working artistically for over two decades in Seattle. Shermona has enjoyed a myriad of opportunities nationally in Washington, Oregon, and Pennsylvania, as well as internationally in Canada and Turkmenistan. Shermona’s work has been seen on stages at The 5^th Avenue Theatre, Sound Theatre Company, ACT, Intiman, Washington Ensemble Theater, Seattle Children’s, Book It Rep, Anything is Possible Theatre and Theatre Simple (where we first met!). Shermona is the Co-Artistic Director for Sound Theater Company.

Steven Anthony Jones was the artistic director of the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre from 2011 to 2017. He has worked professionally on stage, television, and in film for 42 years. He has performed in the works of Wilson, (Charles) Fuller, Fugard, Stoppard, Gotanda, Beckett, Pinter, Molière, Shakespeare, Chekhov, and others. He played Becker in the Broadway tour of August Wilson’s Jitney. He will be playing August Wilson in How I Learned What I Learned here at The Rep, opening April 26 – Get your tickets now!

Gabrielle Moore is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado where she received her B.A. in Theatre Studies, a Minor in Film Studies, and a Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship. In Colorado, she enjoyed working at the Denver Center for Performing Arts as a teaching artist, actor, playwright, and a Bobby G High School Musical Awards adjudicator for several years. She came to Seattle to join the Seattle Children’s Theatre in their Education and Engagement Department and was the School Programs and Partnerships Coordinator among other roles there. Gabrielle is also an evaluator for The 5th Avenue Theatre Awards that honors High School Musicals. She is currently an Arts Engagement Associate here at The Rep!

Shaunyce Omar has performed on stages all around the world and is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association. Some of her credits include Barbecue, Crowns, Black Nativity, Hairspray, Matilda, The Wedding Band, My Heart is the Drum, The Pajama Game, Chicago, The Wiz, Ain't Misbehavin', and Menopause The Musical – National Tour. Her TV/Film credits include The Librarians and Last Seen In Idaho, to name a few. Shaunyce’s voice can also be heard as the character Madison Grant in the "State of Decay: LIFELINE" video game. In addition to stage and screen work, Omar is a teaching artist and has taught in public and private schools, arts organizations, and overseas as a Master Sensei in Japan.

Kaytlin McIntyre is a director, producer, and casting director based out of Seattle, WA.  She is the Artistic Producer at Seattle Rep, where she leads the new work lab "The Other Season". Directing credits include: Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (Strawberry Theatre Workshop), Nadeshiko by Keiko Green (Sound Theatre Company—Gregory Award winner for Outstanding New Play), Vinegar Tom by Caryl Churchill (Cornish College of the Arts), Men on Boats by Jaclyn Backhaus (Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University) The Lost Girls by Courtney Meaker (Annex—Gregory Award Nominee for Best New Play). Her original show House Fire Project premiered at Strawberry Theatre Workshop and will be presented as part of “Artists at the Center” this spring. Kaytlin has developed work with many playwrights including Jaclyn Backhaus, Keiko Green, Benjamin Benne, Susan Soon He Stanton, Holly Arsenault, Mallery Avidon, Claire Kiechel, Elizabeth Heffron, and Courtney Meaker. She is an alumni of the Lincoln Center Director's Lab, a member of the 2019-2020 SDCF Obervership Class and an Associate Member of SDC. She received her BA in Directing from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in St. Louis, MO.

LaNita Hudson Walters is an Actor, Director, Choreographer, Vocalist and Teaching Artist in the Pacific Northwest. She had been a performer from the age of 3 and a Teaching Artist for the last 25+ years. She attended Berklee College of Music and then took time off to raise her 4 children. LaNita is and has been a Teaching Artist at Tacoma Musical Playhouse, Tacoma Little Theatre, Tacoma Arts Live, Lakewood Playhouse and Seattle Rep. Most recently, she worked as Seattle Rep’s teaching artist in the Black is the Light program, and directed Don’t Bother Me I Can’t Cope at Tacoma Urban Performing Arts Center.
