Seattle Rep's Job Shadowing Experience
Join us for an exclusive backstage shadowing experience! Are you ready to step behind the curtain and see how live theater magic happens? Here’s what you’ll need to know to make the most of this unique opportunity:
- Punctuality is Key: Since you’ll be shadowing during a live performance, it’s crucial to arrive on time. Plan to be here 90 minutes before showtime (6 p.m.). This allows for an introduction to your tasks, one-on-one time with staff, and a tour of the backstage area.
- Dress the Part: Wear all-black clothing—no logos or bright colors—so you can blend seamlessly backstage. Comfortable, dark-colored or black shoes are also a must. Avoid fragrances, as scents can be distracting to others.
- Prepare to be Active: You’ll need to be at least 18 years old and able to move comfortably, including standing and walking briskly as needed.
- Accessibility Matters: Let us know in advance if you have any access needs—we want to ensure you feel fully supported during your time with us.
- Bring Your Passion: Prior theater experience isn’t required, but a love for the performing arts will make your experience even more rewarding.
