Seattle Rep's Public Works presents
selections from a musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s
Twelfth Night
Conceived by Kwame Kwei-Armah & Shaina Taub
with Music and Lyrics by Shaina Taub

If music be the food of love, play on!

William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night

Seattle Rep’s Public Works family of community and professional actors will come together virtually to share this story of love, comedic confusion, and seeing the world through another’s eyes. Viola is shipwrecked in the unfamiliar land of Illyria, and her twin brother Sebastian is nowhere in sight. She disguises herself as a man to work for the Duke, setting in motion a series of crafty deceits, hijinks, and a menagerie of lovesick characters all vying for their beloveds.
