Alan T. Sugiyama High School at South Lake, 10th grade  

Marie Akaragwe is a multifaceted artist, performer, and potter with a passion for creative expression. She loves music, painting, drawing, and acting - any medium that lets her bring new ideas to life. As a caring and detail-oriented person, she has been fortunate enough to receive numerous awards for her work. Marie feels most alive when she’s on stage, performing and connecting with others. When she’s not creating, you can find her surrounded by good company, sharing laughter and making memories. 

Kent Meridian High School, 11th grade  

Jazlynne Aldama is currently in her third year of the Next Narrative Monologue Competition (NNMC) and a junior at Kent Meridian High School. With a deep passion for theater, Jazlynne has contributed to several productions both at her school and within the local community. Notably, she served as the stage manager for Romeo and Juliet, where she honed her organizational and leadership skills. Her experience in the theater has fueled her drive to pursue a future in the arts, combining creativity with precision. Jazlynne continues to explore new opportunities to grow within the performing arts and is committed to making a lasting impact on every production she works on. 

Eastlake High School, 11th grade  

Devi Anand is an aspiring thespian from Eastlake High School and is thrilled by the opportunity to perform in the 2025 NNMC Regional Finals. A passionate actor, she has taken on a variety of roles in high school productions, including The Witch in Macbeth and Megan Jones in Puffs. Devi has also competed at Thespys, where she earned an award for her monologue at the international level. Currently, Devi is performing in her school’s productions of The Phantom Tollbooth and A Midsummer Night's Dream. She hopes you enjoy the performance! 

Stadium High School, 10th grade  

Natalia Avila is a 15-year-old NNMC Finalist from Tacoma, WA. They enjoy being a part of the backstage crew and building sets. They chose to participate in this competition to come out of their shell. Their journey started in elementary and continued into their high school career. Currently, Natalia is on crew for Stadium High School’s production of Chicago. 

Shorecrest High School, 12th grade  

Camron Catt is an artist born and raised in Shoreline, WA. His joy for acting is shared amongst other avenues such as writing, singing, dancing, and any form of creation he can get his paws on! Performing throughout his youth, he now primarily acts in his high school’s drama program, Shorecrest Drama. Notable credits include Peter and the Starcatcher (Smee) and You Can’t Take It with You (Boris Kolenkhov). Now a senior in high school, Camron is merrily directing his focus towards pursuing theater in college and can’t wait to see what comes next!

Kent-Meridian High School, 11th grade 

Tyanna Curry is an African American actor excited to perform at Seattle Rep! Tyanna is a junior at Kent-Meridian High School and is actively involved in her school's Black Student Union. This is her third year competing in the NNMC and she is so grateful to be one of the eleven performers at Seattle Rep this year. Tyanna recently won a 20-Under-20 Teeny Award from TeenTix. Tyanna has been performing at Seattle Rep since her freshman year in The State of the Students, Youthfest, and Bonfire with Penguin Productions. @babyyodatc 

Kent-Meridian High School, 11th grade 

Tee Curry attends Kent-Meridian High School and is active in the KM Royal Players, S.A.G.A., Debate Team, and Teen Clinic. They have been involved with productions at Kent-Meridian, Penguin Productions, Theater Battery, The Allegro Players, and Seattle Rep. Their credits include Romeo and Juliet, Almost, Maine, and To A Skylark. They have been involved in stage management, theater tech, directing, writing, and acting. Tee loves theater because of the way it brings community together. 

South Kitsap High School, 12th grade  

Nic Clay is a motivated student both academically as a Running Start student and in her extracurricular activities. Nic discovered a passion for theater only a few years ago by auditioning and getting into their school’s production of Puffs. Since then, Nic has been in four other school productions, as has since become the drama club president. They also competed in the Washington Thespian’s competition, where she won three State Honors. Nic is also a local pageant queen, volunteers with animals and veterans, and is on local advisory boards. 

South Kitsap High School, 11th grade  

Moana Heinze is a theater actress from Tenerife, Spain, and an exchange student in Washington. Involved in theater from childhood, she has found her place in local theaters, with EAC holding a special place in her heart. Dedicated to musical theater, she has taken singing lessons. Since arriving in the U.S., Moana has advanced in her high school theater program through participating in Acting Ensemble, Choir Camerata, and getting a role in the musical Alice by Heart. She came here to prove what she's capable of and open herself up to more opportunities. 

Interlake High School, 11th grade 

Giselle is thrilled to be one of the eleven Next Narrative Monologue Competition Regional Finalists! She is a singer, actor, and dancer who specializes in musical theater. Giselle is a Teeny Award winner for her work at Village Theatre KIDSTAGE, with credits including Aaron in Mean Girls, Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof, Vexis in KIDSTAGE Originals’ A Pirate's Pact, Holiday Cabaret, and The Prom. Last June, Giselle performed in KIDSTAGE Originals’ A Pirate's Pact at Seattle Rep’s Youthfest! She thanks her friends and family for their endless support! 

Bellevue High School, 10th grade  

Akira has been acting since she was 6 years old, performing in plays at The Bellevue Youth Theater. Since then, she has been a part of Village Theatre Issaquah's Institute Program as well as performing as Bizzy in the KIDSTAGE Original A Pirate's Pact and reprising this role in Seattle Rep's YouthFest. Additional credits include Martha in A Call for Help as a part of #ENOUGH with The 5th Avenue Theatre, a Sugar Plum Fairy in Snowflake Lane, and Cousin Itt in The Addams Family at Bellevue High. This April, you can see her as Gabriella in High School Musical at Bellevue High!
