[Re]Discover These YA Lit Faves with Our Freak The Mighty-Inspired Reading List
In Freak The Mighty, Max and Kevin are two teenagers living in 1990s-era New England. Before the internet, teens spent their time in a variety of ways IRL (in real life), but one big way many escaped reality was through books. With that in mind, we devised a list of YA (Young Adult) books that were popular amongst teenagers in the 90s that we thought these two sci-fi and fantasy-loving characters may have been reading (and some mentioned by Director Michael Barakiva in this interview).
