Lucy Alibar is an award-winning screenwriter, playwright, and novelist. She co-wrote BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD, which was based on her original play, Juicy and Delicious. Her new comedy, TROUPE ZERO, is headed into production this summer, and she recently adapted SECRET GARDEN, reimagining the classic novel. Lucy is also writing another film, BAT KID, and was proud to work on the 2016 Election PSA “We Trump Hate.” In television, she recently sold an original series to FX. In the fall, Lucy performed an evening of her stories at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. She is currently penning a book for Scribner, and mentors new writers at various universities across the country. She lives in Brooklyn with her dog, Joe Biden.
