By Elizabeth Heffron and Kit Bakke, Directed by Sheila Daniels
January 30 – February 3

Seattle writer Elizabeth Heffron’s newest work, The Weatherman Project (working title), will be workshopped during the festival and will be directed by Sheila Daniels. Co-written with former Weatherman member Kit Bakke, the play tells the story of five young people in the midst of the Vietnam era and the road that leads them to the Weather Underground, a radical anti-war group.

Heffron is one of eight writers in Seattle Rep’s Writers Group, a collection of local playwrights who have been awarded a two-year residency to develop and refine new works using Seattle Rep resources.
