Code of Conduct

Seattle Rep is committed to being a racially, culturally, and socially just organization. We promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the work we do, and uphold a safe environment wherein all people are welcome to our space and are treated with respect and dignity.

It is our expectation that all patrons and those affiliated with Seattle Rep will align with this code of conduct and we reserve the right to relocate or remove any person from our theater who disregards our commitment.

Ticket Policy 

ALL TICKET AND SUBSCRIPTION SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE, INCLUDING FEES.

Seattle Rep does not support the reselling of our tickets at a price above the printed face value. By purchasing a ticket, you are entering into an agreement that you represent and warrant that the tickets you receive will not be resold to individuals above the face value. Seattle Rep reserves the right to revoke tickets for any person or entity that resells any tickets for profit.

Tickets may be purchased online, in person, or through the Patron Services Office at 206.443.2222. Seattle Rep guarantees tickets purchased via our website, our Patron Services Office, or from any of our official ticket vendors (TodayTix, Goldstar). There is no guarantee that a ticket is valid when you purchase it from an unofficial third party.

Single-Ticket Exchange Policy

Tickets and fees are non-refundable, but exchanges to a different date within the run of the same show may be made for an additional per-ticket fee. Exchanges must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the original performance. Exchanges are subject to availability and upgrade costs may apply to exchange into more expensive seats or dates. Performance Cancellation Policy

We are committed to honoring our performance calendar and rarely have to cancel a performance.

If you are scheduled to attend a performance that is cancelled, our Patron Services staff will make their best efforts to contact you in advance by email or text message, and you may move your tickets into another performance of your choice. To reschedule your performance, please use the form linked in your performance cancellation email, or contact the Patron Services Office in person or by phone at 206.443.2222. All performance cancellations will also be listed on Seattle Rep's social media platforms.

If you are unable to make it to a performance because of weather conditions, please call the Patron Services Office within 48 hours of the missed performance. We will do our best to seat you in another performance of the same show as availability permits; comparable seating is not guaranteed. If you are subscriber, you can exchange your tickets online up to 24 hours before your show date and time.

Late Seating Policy

Matinees at Seattle Rep start at 2 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, and at 12 p.m. on Sundays. Evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays as well as all preview performances, and at 5:30 p.m. on Sundays during the regular run of each show.

BAGLEY WRIGHT THEATER

Late seating is at the discretion of House Management, subject to availability and is not guaranteed. No patron may take a seat on the main floor once the show has started.

If a patron arrives after the show has started, we will make every effort to get them into late seating in the back of the balcony upon arrival, regardless of where their ticketed seat is. 

Patrons may relocate to their ticketed seat at intermission, should the show have one. Patrons will remain in late seating for the duration of the show when there is no intermission. Should there be no late seating available in the balcony, patrons will be directed to standing room on the balcony level.

LEO K. THEATER

Late seating is at the discretion of House Management, subject to availability and is not guaranteed. No patron may take a seat on the main floor once the show has started. If you have arrived late and there is no more late seating available, contact the Patron Services Office to discuss options. 

Patrons arriving after the start of the show are held in the Leo K. lobby regardless of their original ticketed seat. At a pre-determined moment in the show, the house manager will take all late patrons up to the balcony for late seating. Patrons may relocate to their ticketed seat at intermission, should the show have one. Patrons will remain in late seating for the duration of the show when there is no intermission. Should there be no late seating available in the balcony, patrons will be directed to standing room on the main floor.

Additional Policies

  • Cell phones disrupt our performance. Please turn them off or set them to silent mode before the performance.

  • Photography and sound or video recordings are prohibited during the performance.

  • We offer show-by-show age recommendations for families with children and teens. Check with the Patron Services Office if you have questions about suitability. Please no babes in arms unless you would like to join us in the lobby for the video livestream of our Public Works production of The Tempest.

  • Smoking Areas — There is no smoking in the theater or lobbies. Washington state law prohibits smoking in areas of public assembly as well as smoking within 25 feet from entrances, exits, windows that open, and ventilation intakes.

  • Exits — To ensure your safety in case of fire or any other emergency, note the exit route nearest your seat.

  • Your admission serves as permission for use of your image for promotional purposes.
  • Seattle Rep reserves the right to move a patron's chosen seats within the same row to eliminate single, unoccupied seats.

  • Discount offers or promotional pricing may not be combined with any other discounts, offers, or promotions, and may not be applied to previous purchases.
