Hearing Loop Assistive Listening System
Seattle Repertory Theatre is equipped with an innovative new assistive listening system for our patrons with hearing loss: the hearing loop system, a wireless technology that transmits speech or music on stage directly to theatregoers’ cochlear implants and hearing aids with T-coils. Patrons will hear sound picked up by the theatre’s PA system rather than from the microphone in an implant or hearing aid, resulting in a clearer sound with less background noise. If your device is not equipped with a T-coil, you can acquire a neck receiver that will work with the hearing loop system.
