Tessa Broyles is a recent graduate from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a BA in Theatre Studies. After graduation, she worked at the Santa Fe Opera as a Props Paint Apprentice (Summer 2018), which has built upon the painting skills she learned from working as the charge artist at her university. Some of her favorite shows to work on while at school were Silent Sky (charge artist and set designer), Peter and the Starcatcher (scenic artist), Big Fish (charge artist, scenic co-designer, projections designer), and Jane Eyre (charge artist). While growing up in Kansas, Tessa loved reading books and developing her skills in the fine arts, which eventually led to her passion for the creative story-telling process of theatre. She is extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with and learn from the staff at the Seattle Rep.
