Seattle Repertory Organization

Seattle Repertory Organization (SRO) is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting Seattle Rep through special events, volunteer service and member education.  Since its founding in 1963, SRO has become one of the largest and most active theatre volunteer organizations in the nation, contributing more than $100,000 and 10,000 hours to Seattle Rep each season.

SRO is filled with more than 150 dedicated, energetic members who share a passion for theatre, a love of Seattle Rep and a desire to make a significant contribution to the cultural life of our community.  SRO members lead and participate in a variety of fundraising and volunteer activities, including:

  • Working in The Shop at the Rep during performances
  • Serving on fundraising event committees, including 2009’s Costume & Prop Sale
  • Planning and hosting events and activities to support interns participating in Seattle Rep’s Professional Arts Training Program
  • Providing vital support for administrative and mailing projects
  • Promoting theatre tours to New York and London
  • Providing refreshments for actors and crew during Tech Week, education events and theatre receptions
  • Volunteering for Seattle Rep events and education programs
