In 2009, Seattle Rep launched an initiative to inspire young artists and audiences called the Yes Project.
The main goal of the project is to find and develop plays for our stages that feature young characters and/or ties to the classroom curriculum. For the 50th Anniversary season, those productions are Pullman Porter Blues and The Glass Menagerie.
Thanks to the Yes Project more than 16,000 youth have had access to 9 mainstage productions. And a half-dozen more new plays have begun the development process.
The best way for young people to fall in love with theatre? See it. And Seattle Rep makes it easy.
