Drama Intensive takes on the Bard In the spring we welcome students of The Center School into our house as they design, build, and perform in a brand-new, full-length play. Past productions have included a Restoration Comedy (School for Scandal), an acrobatic-filled circus drama (Pants on Fire), and a musical about ancient Greece (Boxes). Last year’s production featured an original adaptation of Shakespeare’s most famous play—Hamlet. This is what Jolene Obertin, Properties Coordinator for the Rep had to say about the show:
“I laughed until I cried. The energy onstage was infectious. I walked out of the building last night excited and full of energy. I know I will find the time in the future to see the education department's shows.”
