Emerging Critics
All of Seattle Rep’s education programs emphasize the need for students to be making their own art, as well as seeing and responding to world class art on stage. We have residencies that allow students to develop their own plays, as well as opportunities for students to respond to the plays they see here at Seattle Rep.

This innovative new program allows students to connect with theatre through critical writing. Participants have the opportunity to interact with guest speakers from local media and participate in workshops with local critics. Students will attend a Saturday matinee show, write their reviews and the following Saturday attend a writing workshop. Student reviews have potential to be published and critiqued by local theatre critics.
